My recent Discovery

When I am making and designing my jewellery I look for materials that will be light weight and take the wear and tare of being worn around your neck. (I opted to use the thin slices of wood) but I happened upon these great little Artist Tiles that are made from 300gms paper 8 cm x 8 cm and come in white or black. They are terrific for doodling, sketching and writing. I also purchased gel pens in a variety of colours. I used the black tiles with the white gel and it is so creative to think in opposites, using white on black it will jumpstart the creative juices. Looking for easy ways to do little sketches when you are out and about has always been fun. Little planner and date books have become really popular as well. I like the tiles though and when you are finished your miniature work of art you can display them in many ways just purchase a blank tile book and fill the slots inside with your works of art. Fun and a handy way to practice your sketching skills. Slide them in your pocket or purse and doodle away.
