Yesterday my Art Studio was a mess. I needed to rearrange and clean up. It's a process for me. This cleanup mode definitely puts me in the mood to work on or create a new project and I had scraps of paper, clippings and stuff all over the floor as well on all the table tops from making a huge collage. I"m sure you get the picture. So as I thought about the next job, I was inspired by my cleanup..strange??? This, as I discovered years ago, is the way I roll. After waiting for new Ideas to spring into my mind I was able to focus and some concepts and some kernels of projects came into my imagination.
So anyway, I began to set the space up to accommodate doing another pencil drawing. (You can see some them on this website in the Colours Gallery).
I need a table and my Drawing board so I made some room for them. The table is covered with glue and paint so I decided to cover it with newsprint. I buy newsprint in big wide rolls to have on hand for just such an occasion. Covering the table just inspired me more as I made a new neat work space.
My grand children were with me for the afternoon and they admired the nice new space. They love to look at all my coloured pencils and paints. They just love colour. So they asked if they could inaugurate the fresh new table

space. While they learned how to sharpen the pencils they coloured my space with amazing doodles. These girls aged 3 and 8 years old enjoyed this activity and it kept them creating for up to an hour. They learned something new and I didn't need TV or Youtube and I ended up with a masterpiece.
