Do you like to read about Art?..

I have recently subscribed to a wonderful magazine that is published in the UK and it is terrific. "Artists & Illustrators" is a magazine full of tips, techniques, ideas and inspiration.

I love the pictures of some of the newest Art and articles about the Artists too. I have learned so much and I find they are worth the money ( subscription costs about $90.00 Cnd for a year and comes once a month).

In the July 2018 issue I found a great article about coloured Pencils. I have used coloured pencil so much over the past 5 years but I have not seen much published about how to use the pencils and new information is always so useful.

Water colour is always discussed in this magazine so if you want to learn more or see what others are doing with the medium just turn the pages.

England has always been known for its watercolour artists and some of the most famous painters worked only in the medium.

Pastels, or art chalk is often featured as well and is so outstanding and it is very direct; just put the chalk on the paper and express yourself. So I look forward to each day with reading my mags and kickstarting some new dreamy concepts in chalk pastels, watercolours or coloured pencils. ( chelseamags.subscribeonline.co.uk )
